Rockdale Accountability Courts

The Rockdale County Accountability Courts consist of judicially supervised court treatment programs, which include the DUI Court, Felony Drug Court, Resource Court and Juvenile DUI Court. The accountability courts are alternative sentencing programs designed for individuals whose criminal and addictive behavior has led them into the criminal justice system.

Assistant District Attorneys assigned to Accountability Courts determine if individuals meet the eligibility requirements to have their cases disposed through accountability courts.


Appellate
The Appellate Division is responsible for representing the State of Georgia when a defendant files a request before the Georgia Court of Appeals or Supreme Court challenging their conviction. Assistant District Attorney responds in writing via briefs to the appropriate appellate courts stating the State’s response to the challenge, The Appellate Division is also responsible for open records requests and record restriction requests
